Making Your Birthday Invitation
Every birthday party needs an invtation. Here's an idea how you could
word your invitation if you decide to donate your birthday. I'll use
the invitation to my 11th birthday party as an example:
Please join us!
Cole Hodges will be 11 soon, and to celebrate,
we're going to play Laser Tag.
Join us on (date) at (time). We'll be
meeting at (location).
We'll play 2 games of tag, enjoy cake and
ice cream, but PLEASE... NO PRESENTS!
Cole would like you to help a local homeless organization,
"The Daily Planet" instead. You may make a
donation of money, or if you'd like to
bring a present, please bring laundy detergent
(The Daily Planet does 200 loads per week!)
or gently used men's or women's clothing (they
could use suits/ professional attire for their job
training!) Thanks for helping out!
