Donate Your Birthday is in the news!!
Cole and some friends recently helped out at the Daily Planet, handing out goodies to homeless clients. Your birthday donation doesn't have to end with that day- think about developing partnerships with the organizations you donate to!

2007 BIRTHDAY UPDATE:
Cole donated to the Daily Planet again this year. In fact, he and his friends started a service project. They got permission from Ukrops, a local grocery chain, to go once a month for just five hours and ask people for donations of products or money. So far, they've raised about $6,000. Add that to the almost $500 Cole raised at his birthday party, the $500 grant he won from the Community Foundation of VA, and the $1,000 he won in a contest from a local newspaper, The Richmond Times Dispatch, and the total is near the $8,000 mark. It just goes to show that what he says is true: IT'S SO EASY, EVEN A CHILD CAN DO IT.
2006 BIRTHDAY UPDATE:
Cole
raised over $800 in cash and contributions to THE DAILY PLANET (an
organization that helps the homeless of Richmond) this year. His
cash donations were $300, plus he had over a dozen large jugs of
laundry detergent and five garden-sized bags filled with clothing for
their job training program. . . including 3 full suits (shirt, tie,
suit and shoes!) Many people will be assisted thanks to Cole's
generous friends and their families! THANKS to you all!!
